About the Soundtrack Cowl

The Soundtrack Cowl features a fun, 2-color slip stitch colorwork pattern. If you've never worked any type of colorwork before this is a great place to start!

There are 2 versions of the Soundtrack Cowl pattern (you'll get copies of both versions when you enroll). "Soundtrack Cowl" uses worsted-weight and "Summer Soundtrack Cowl" uses sport/DK-weight. You can follow either version in this workshop.

Refining techniques

Barbara

This is my second Elizabeth Smith course and so I was not surprised to find clear and concise instructions for the knitted cowl. I signed up not so much for the pattern instructions (it is a relatively easy piece), but for the interesting and useful color theory lessons. These will benefit me in future color decisions going forward. But I picked up some other good tips along the way including a super-tidy tracing method of weaving in ends. Always learning!

Loved the course

Dale

Although I have knit this type of pattern before, I really loved the tips you offered starting with knitting the cast on tail together with the first stitch to join in the round.....what a nice look. What I really embraced was the color wheel overview. I can't wait to use this concept for new projects. Although I'm not at the end, you offered some great weaving in tails ideas. Loved the class and look forward to future projects!
