Ramona Cardigan KAL Workshop
Educational 6-week virtual KAL workshop with step-by-step video lessons provided each week. Cast-on begins January 25th!
Knit a sweater with confidence and learn helpful tips and tricks along the way. Cast-on begins January 25, 2025!
Here's what's included when you enroll in the Ramona Cardigan KAL Workshop
Getting started is a breeze: Upon enrollment, you'll immediately gain access to the online learning platform and the first 3 learning modules. These modules include lessons on picking a size, picking a yarn and gauge swatching. As soon as you enroll you’ll also receive a welcome email from me outlining all of the “getting started” steps.
Weekly email communication: Starting on our official cast-on date of January 25th, each week you’ll receive an email letting you know which learning modules and lessons have been “unlocked” for that week. These weekly emails also provide an outline of what you can expect to learn and other helpful tidbits.
In-depth video lessons: The course’s online learning platform is easy-to-use, ad-free and can be accessed on any kind of device. Since the video lessons are pre-recorded, you can watch and re-watch them at your own pace, and they will be available to you for 2 years (so there is no pressure to finish before the KAL is over).
Real-time opportunities to connect: There will be 4 live Zoom sessions held every 2 weeks, starting with our kick-off date on January 25th (they will be recorded in case you can’t meet in real-time). There’s also an optional private Facebook group you can participate in - connect with the other students, ask questions, share in-progress photos and cheer each other along as we all knit the Ramona Cardigan together.

Hear first-hand from knitters who have participated in my past KAL workshops!
Ramona Cardigan has been my most popular design over the last decade. This classic cardigan design is knit seamlessly from the top-down and features raglan construction.
Knit up in aran-weight yarn, it's also a pretty quick knit and makes for a warm and cozy winter layering piece.
Finished Bust Circumference (buttoned): 33.25 (35.25, 38.5, 41.75, 44, 46) (50.25, 53.5, 56.75, 60, 64)”
Yardage: Approx 775 (825, 900, 975, 1030, 1075) (1175, 1250, 1325, 1410, 1510) yds of aran/bulky- weight yarn

You should know the knitting basics, like how to knit, purl and cast-on (since this isn't a 'learn to knit' class), but that's it! All of the other techniques will be taught in this course.
Yes, the Ramona Cardigan pattern PDF can be downloaded in the first "Welcome" video lesson (scroll under the course player to access the download). If you would like it added to your Ravelry library as well just send me an email after you enroll.
I knit English-style (so holding the working yarn in my right-hand). So all of the demonstrations in this course are shown in this style of knitting.
This course is in English and I have created accurate English captions for the hearing-impaired.
