Student Testimonials

Learn first-hand about others' experiences with the Ramona Cardigan course!

Thorough and detailed!

Jill

Elizabeth is a great teacher! Her video learning modules are very thorough and she anticipates issues or questions a novice would have. If you email her with a quandary or a mess up, she's very quick getting back. I sort of taught myself how to knit during Covid and her Ramona cardigan is the first garment I've knit, that I'd be willing to wear in public! It's been a joy to learn from her and the course is worth every penny.

Excellent class

Catherine

This class was worth every penny. Elizabeth has a very clear, professional way of explaining techniques while acknowledging that there is more than one way to do things in knitting. The video lessons were excellent and clear. Although I didn't finish the sweater in the time of the workshop, I know that I have the lessons to follow to complete it in my own time. I recommend this class to anyone new to sweater-making, or anyone who would like to brush up on skills. Elizabeth was very accessible via email for any questions that I had.

First cardigan

Charlene

The class for the Romona Cardigan was my first cardigan and I learned so much with this class. This is the second class with Elizabeth and I can't say enough about her workshops. I have learned so much and will make the Romona Cardigan light as my next knit.

I learned sooooo much

Jennifer

I've been knitting for years, and have learned that there's always something more to learn! In that spirit, I thought it would be instructive to join the Ramona Sweater KAL. And learn I did -- from tiny but useful tips (finally, my binding off in pattern looks the way it should) to learning how to size a sweater based on the gauge I achieve -- all in a very accessible format. Elizabeth's teaching style is calm, thorough, and easy to follow. Overall, a great experience.

Highly recommend

Mary

If you have never knit a sweater or cardigan before this class is for you! Elizabeth takes you through the entire process from beginning to end in a go at your own pace online course. She is a gifted teacher showing various techniques in a clear, easy to understand manner. After I knit my Ramona Cardigan I just kept saying to myself "I knit a sweater! I just knit a sweater!" all day. Elizabeth will give you the confidence you need to tackle a new knitting project, like a sweater or cardigan, with confidence!!! I highly recommend it and I give it 5 stars!

Cyndi

This was my first KAL course with Elizabeth and I could not have been happier. She moves at a pace that is perfect and all of the close-ups REALLY helped to make the process easier. I learned so much that I can use with any knitting project. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend any course given by Elizabeth. Thank you So much, I will definitely sign up for another course!!!

Great experience!

Nancy

This was a wonderful course--support and instruction every step of the way, and I love my cardigan. So worth it!

Excellent class

Becky

Excellent class with attention to detail concerning the Ramona pattern. Really appreciate the demo of blocking a sweater and sewing on buttons. Your knitting technique was similar to mine, which helped to understand the demonstrations. I liked the spacing of dates for KALs, it was timed perfect for my progress. Thank you!

Great teacher

Alison

Have done 4 kal with Elizabeth and enjoyed them all. She has a wealth of information and is a great teacher no matter how much experience you have . Looking forward to the next one.
